Progressive Auto Insurance

Progressive auto insurance allows you to not only insure your personal vehicles, but boats and personal watercraft, motorcycles, commercial autos, RVs, snowmobiles, and even mobile homes. If you would decide to get Drive Insurance through Progressive, then you would have the option of letting Progressive handle all claims and the entire repair process. If your vehicle does need to be repaired then you can either have one of Progressive’s network of repair shops fix it, or you can actually choose a repair shop of your own to fix it.

There are some factors that go into how much you will end up paying for auto insurance with Progressive. Your gender plays a role, and males will end up having to pay more than female especially single males. Your age will also play a role; specifically people under the age of 25 will find they have to pay more. Distance and reasonable estimation will also come into play, because the farther you drive the more your insurance will end up being.

With just about any coverage you want to get with Progressive there will be a deductible you will be required to meet. Your deductible is the amount of money you have to pay yourself before Progressive begins to pay anything. Progressive offers liability coverage which covers both bodily injury and property damaged. Progressive does tell you up front that there are some exclusions to whether or not you will receive anything for bodily injury or property damage. You can also get personal injury protection (PIP) with Progressive. With PIP you can get your medical/hospital and funeral expenses paid for. Progressive also offers collision coverage, and will pay for your vehicle if it were to collide with another vehicle or object or overturn your vehicle. With collision coverage with Progressive they will cover a vehicle you are driving but you do not own as well as a rented vehicle, as long as the vehicle was not rented for any reason related to your employment or business. Of course there are a few exclusions to whether or not you will or even can get anything, and are covered after a collision. You can also get comprehensive coverage with Progressive, which comes into affect if you have damage to your vehicle that was not caused by a collision. So you would be covered if your vehicle was damaged because of a flood, windstorm, fire, theft, vandalism or hit an animal. Progressive will even pay for your transportation and loss of expenses if your vehicle was to be stolen. Progressive offers you uninsured motorist coverage, which just means that if you were to get into an accident with someone who does not have auto insurance then you would still be covered. You can also get underinsured motorist coverage, which is good if you were to get into an accident with someone who does not have enough auto insurance. Progressive also offers roadside assistance, where you can get your broken down vehicle towed, get a flat tire fixed, get battery jump-start, and locksmith services.
