Emergency Road Service Many insurance companies now offer emergency road service coverage. Anyone who has ever had to use this service knows how handy it can actually be. Towing can cost you a lot of money if you have to pay for it yourself, but with emergency road service your insurance company will either pay for towing your vehicle or reimburse you. The one downfall to that is some insurance companies will only pay for the towing as long as your vehicle is towed to the closed mechanic, not a mechanic of your choice. Other problems that emergency road service will cover are: an empty gas tank, a flat tire, a battery re-charge, and if you lock yourself out of your vehicle. Plus if you have frequent breakdowns it’s a good thing to get. |
